Fruit Wine Macerated Strawberries

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
combine water and sugar bring to a boil

16oz Strawberry fruit wine
add wine bring to a boil and reduce by half, let cool

3pt fresh strawberries

pour mixture over strawberries and let stand 2-3 hours
